Introduction:

A well-organized library is essential for teaching and learning process, especially when the emphasis is shifted from classroom teaching to learning centered process. The library service enriches the quality of the learning process.

History of Development:

Shri Balasaheb Mane Shikshan Prasarak Mandal Ambap was established in 1980. The organization has more than 25 branches. The saplings planted in 1980 can be seen transformed into a magnificent banyan tree today. Along with the curriculum, co-curriculum activities are conducted, various activities are conducted, various competitions are conducted, through which the overall development of the students takes place, a pleasant atmosphere, teacher- student interaction co-operation. The result of all these factors is the current number of students in the college. College students excel in sports as well as various fields with the latent qualities of each student. In 1986 the College of Education (B.Ed.) start reading room for college students. Students read 2p.m. to 3p.m. in reading room. From 1986 to 2023 college library work as central library.  Present time College Library Department is well computerized.

Our library have a vast collection of books, journals, periodicals, and other resources carefully curated to support the academic pursuits of students and faculty. With its organized sections and departments, the library provides various services to aid research and independent learning. The library is proud of having many rare collections,especially in languages. Thesis of our college students are available in college library.
